Waverley Hills is an organic wine farm situated in the Western Cape of South Africa. I have worked closely with them over the past 6 years, assisting with many design projects. Working alongside the marketing director, I designed the layout of their current website. I did the labels for their olive jars, the olive oil range and the vitamin bottles, as well as numerous advertisements, exhibition displays and newsletter design.
This was a colourful, informative postcard design for visitors to take away with them.
Morgenster Wine & Olive Estate is at the gateway to the Western Cape wine-growing region in South Africa. It is a thriving olive and wine farm dating back to 1711, producing internationally acclaimed Bordeaux-style wines and extra virgin olive oil of astounding quality. Their products are exported all over the world. I was approached by the marketing director to design a new brochure showcasing their wine ranges and olive oil products, as well as the farm’s wine tasting and visitor centre.
We decided to go with a large square trifold design, printed on superior quality paper.
I was approached by the Waverley Hills Organic Wine Farm to create two adverts for their Wine Club. They wanted something contemporary and eye catching.
I was approached by Tom Churnside when he was setting up his own IT company, called Acorn Network Solutions. Their aim was to offer reliable and professional network solutions in the local Uckfield & surrounding areas.
He needed a logo and business cards.
These were 3 email templates that I designed to promote Lonely Planet’s new travel app for cities. This project was part of my Graduation Portfolio at Shillington College in London.
Evemy & Evemy is an upmarket town and country ladies’ brand. The founder, Sophie, approached me to assist her with the design layout for her new range of silk scarves. Her mother is an artist and had painted a series of game feathers in watercolours. I then scanned the paintings and, working closely with Sophie, we converted them into graphic layout designs for the manufacturing process. The scarves were a great success and the range has grown and grown.
I also assisted Sophie with poster and pamphlets designs.

MID SUSSEX KITCHENS
Carl founded Mid Sussex Kitchens in 1997 and was in need of a complete rebranding, with new business cards and website.
The brief here was to design the layout for an annual report, injecting it with colour and design to make it more appealing for the reader. I designed the patterned cover, which I then echoed throughout the report, as well as a carry bag which could be used for the packaging of corporate giveaways.
This branding project was part of my final student portfolio. The client was a Swedish microbrewery from Uppsala, specialising in quality modern craft beer. The founders wanted a branding and label/bottle design that would stand out on the shelves and appeal to their potential target customers.
Törstig means “Thirsty” in Swedish.
I was approached to help with the graphic design for a Summer Charity Ball. The theme was ‘Under the Sea’. Working closely with the decorating team, we focused on a coral and navy colour scheme. This was echoed throughout the printed design, from advertising posters, website adverts, tickets, programs, wine list and menu.
Branding for a local bike company.
Working closely with the marketing manager, I created two labels for Waverley Hills Wine Farm - one was for their olives and the other for their premium Olive Oil. We wanted to create something with an element of authentic, farm style design hence the hand drawn olive branches.
The brief was to design a logo, a full range of advertisements and printed material for an upcoming exhibition showcasing creativity and design talents from the African continent.
VICTORIA BOWMAN EVENTS
Victoria was organising a black tie 50th birthday event at Bush Hall, London. She approached me to help with the 12 decorative wall posters. Her original idea was to find copies of newspapers from 50 years ago and enlarge the headlines where possible. Unfortunately, after some research, we realised this would not be possible so I designed posters highlighting various events through the past 50 years. The venue had mirrors and chandeliers so our aim was to design something striking but simple in black and white, whilst keeping the original newspaper idea.
The second project I assisted Victoria with was a series of table cards, also for a 50th birthday party. The client chose several key events from his birth year to use as the table names and I superimposed a cheeky baby portrait in with the designs.
The last invitation was a 60’s themed Austin Powers party
